CyberXP is designed to bring people together in the fair spirit of collaboration. In this spirit, all participants are expected to behave appropriately and demonstrate respect towards all participants, Organizers staff and other stakeholders at all times and in all circumstances. 

Any behaviour that does not meet these standards will be the cause for immediate exclusion, without warning or justification, at the discretion of the Organizers.

All information, including personal information, provided by participants during its application and subsequent registration to the Event, must be accurate and valid.

Eligibility Criteria

The CyberXP programme has been designed for small and medium businesses of Belgium by the Cyber Security Challenge vzw/asbl, in delegation of the Federal Public Service Economy. For this reason, strict criteria have been established, against which any application to join the Event will be evaluated:

  • The participant must be employed or be the owner of a small or medium business;

  • That business must meet the legal definition published by the European Commission (SME definition - European Commission). To this end, the participant must disclose its employer and should be authorized to join the Event on its behalf.

  • The participant’s employer must be a validly established Belgian firm.

The organization team will evaluate applications based on these criteria: 

  • If the application is evaluated as meeting these criteria, the participant will receive an invitation to the Event and instructions to complete its registration;

  • If the application is evaluated as invalid, the participant will be informed of the rejection of its application. Participants may appeal the decision, by providing explanation and evidence.

Applications will be processed on a first come, first served basis.
